Waterpik Wp-300 TravelerTM Water Flosser Review
On a scale from 1 to 10, we are giving the Waterpik Wp-300 TravelerTM a solid 8.
The Waterpik WP-300 is the perfect mix of efficiency and portability, with a clever design that provides high performance while keeping it small enough to travel with, this device is undoubtedly one of the best options for travelers.Â
Of course, it’s not perfect and the compact design avoids it to incorporate some commodities from other Waterpik models, but it is still a powerful device capable of doing its job and keeping your teeth and gums clean and healthy.
Pros
- The Waterpik WP-300 is designed to be useful and portable for travelers, from first sight, it might look like just another countertop water flosser, but its ingenious design allows you to flip the water tank upside down and fit it over the unit’s body, reducing its height to a half, small enough to fit in carry-on bags, it is compact and lightweight.
- The design not only reduces the device’s size; but also allows counting on a bigger water reservoir, a 450 ml (15 oz)Â tank that will provide 60 seconds of continuous flossing.Â
- The tank has no lid, since it’s meant to cover the whole unit when not in use, so refilling is quite simple and fast.
- The tank is also dishwasher friendly to ease the cleaning.
- It comes with 3 intensity settings: Low, medium, and high; low might be too soft for most people unless you struggle with sensitive teeth and gums, but medium and high intensities are powerful enough to remove plaque and food debris.Â
- The unit’s body has an On/Off switch and an intensity levels switch.
- It is a corded device, you must plug it into an electrical socket to use it, so you don’t have to worry about battery life.
- Waterpik WP-300 supports 110 volts and 220 volts, which allows you to use it in different countries with just a plug adapter.
- It comes with 4 tips: 2 classic tips, 1 plaque seeker tip, and 1 Pik pocket tip; the unit’s body offers tip storage for 1 tip.
- It includes a premium padded travel case that allows you to store the water flosser, 2 tips, and the power cord; the travel case is highly protective so there is no risk of damaging the device while traveling.
Cons
- Unlike other Waterpik models, this one doesn’t provide a 360 degrees rotating tip, which means you’ll have to make an effort to reach some difficult areas.
- There is no On/Off switch on the handle, so you must go directly to the unit’s body to stop the water stream.
- It’s a pricy device.
